This and That

I think Douglas thinks he is a lap dog. His guardian breed has a tendancy to want to protect Victoria.
Not everyone has an IV pole with Iv's in their kitchen. We have saline syringes and alcohol swabs in the potholder drawer. We have a supply of IV supplies in our linen closet. Jared ordered this nice IV pole as a replacement to the flimsy pole that the insurance sent her. Big Brother to the rescue.
Ice skating with Kaleb and I. Something we once did weekly long ago when Victoria was in the Figure Skating Club and skating competitively.
Brody, completely unphased by snowfall. It always amazes me how warm he and the goats are during the winter.
I love how Merk sits at the end of the deck keeping watch of his property.
Victoria roasting Smores.

Refinish Project

Well, we've finally started finishing the floor. There is never a good time to start this project so here goes. There was quite a bit of paint from long ago so of course it took Kirk forever to sand the floor. A one day sanding took three days. Ridiculous for a tiny room.
For the first time in almost 9 years we have baseboards and super easy to clean. It's about time. Now we are scheduling the dining room and then the kitchen/laundry room.

The 3 Muskateers

These three have the cutest relationship. Douglas, being the big guy will get all goofy when he runs through the yard with the other two chasing him. MerkTavitch will do whatever it takes to keep everyone running looking back from time to time to make sure that the other two are tagging behind. And Cleo, our only girl pup is the typical kid sister. She doesn't know when to keep her nip to herself. She drives Doug nuts sometimes when she is standing up with her paws all over his back. And she is something of a big mouth. Constantly barking when she is happy and excited.
