Color Wheel

I can't teach art in Hobby Lobby because of Covid, so
I teach art at home, outside. One of the lessons was the color wheel.
I had the kids collect objects of various colors to apply into a wheel.
I thought it turned out great.

Life of a Contractor

Jared, once again, smashed his hand, not once, not twice but three times!
All in the same day! It was not a good day. At least he is smiling.

Bear Lake...One Last Time

Nana is teaching the kids to walk like Laverne and Shirley

Kirk was the only one brave enough to emerse himself in the water.
I felt it was just a little to cold to do that.

I never take summer for granted. I enjoy every single little second that we spend anywhere. I cherish the feel of the sand and the water. I love the time spent together and am so glad that we all love to spend our time just hanging out. It is almost the only way that we just stop moving and spend some down time.

Thomas Reunion

We had so much fun with our little reunion. I just wish my sister Kim could have made it but they were moving the following week and couldn't make it. We met Rich's new wife Natalie of one year. Victoria said that "Natalie is a keeper."
We managed to get caught up with what everyone has been up to this past year.
My Dad and Victoria had their RC trucks out. Brody wasn't sure what it was.
Rich was trying to convince Brody that it was just a toy.

Driving RC trucks was definitely a high light of our time together.
Beau wasn't too sure what was going on. It held his interest for quite some time.
This mysterious frisbee kept appearing...or Kathy really is angelic.
Or maybe Daphne is angelic...hmmm...who could be doing this?

Major Storm

We had a major wind storm with 60-80 mile an hour winds rip through our trees.
It was very scary hearing the cracking of trees and limbs, the howling and shaking of the hosue.
We literally spent 5 days cleaning up the debris. It took 5 truck and trailer loads to clean up.
Poor Brody was a little crazed the next few days.
We did manage to dump an entire trailer load of branches into the dump truck
across the street. These guys were helping people clear up some piles.
I guess we don't need to trim any trees in the near future. We have so many really old trees on our property. It is a shame to see them broken and gone but it was bound to happen. Deeply shaded areas are no filtered sun light. It is better than completely gone. It sure was a lot of work cleaning up.

Summer Life

I already miss summer!
We had a ton of corn to freeze. While the guys worked on our bathroom remodel,
the girls and I hung out under the tree, listening to music, blanching corn,
cutting it off the cob and stuffing bags to put into the freezer.
I happened to notice that there was Beau's halter and lead rope hanging in the kitchen.
Victoria's explanation was that it matched the decor.
I love this little kitty I molded out of air drying clay.
Victoria hanging out with her peeps, reminiscing of childhood days gone by.
Victoria felt that she was very clever that she used a muffin tin to hold her tacos.
We ran out of corn tortillas, so Kirk had to fry up some flour tortillas for tacos. Great idea!
Lightning is sitting just perfect so he doesn't knock over the chapstick between his paws.

That's My Tunnel

I love how Thunder and Lightning are lounging in the dog agility tunnel
and Jasper is in the entrance spying on them.
