Kaleb has a new puppy!

He is the most adorable 10 week border collie ever!

Okay, Jasper was pretty cute too.

Kaleb has high hopes for Merk being his hiking, backpacking, 

cross country ski, search and rescue buddy. 

He has made himself a place napping with Sammy. 

It is fascinating watching him, watch Jasper. He already does the border collie "stare". It is so funny because he will do it sneaking up on Jasper who is literally watching him. When Merk gets super close, Jasper will reach out and nip him, like, "I got you", and Merk will jump back and run around only to come back and do it all over again. Jasper will also pick up a tug toy and hold it in front of Merk's face waiting for him to grab it so they can play tug.

I love that both Sammy and Jasper have taken him in and love him. They have welcomed him with their little doggie hearts. Of course we love him too.
