JUNIPERS!

Ask us about Junipers and we will give you a very specific opinion as to how much we dislike the plant. And I can't believe that landscapers are planting them around town.
What are they thinking!
We have removed close to 150 juniper plants on our property. Our neighbors who have lived here for over 40 years cannot remember the house ever NOT having junipers planted in the front and back yard. Our neighbor's adult children remember losing their soccer balls in the mess of bushes. We did find a few deflated balls including a soccer ball. It was probably theirs.
These bushes were so huge that some of the branches were 10-15 feet long!
We have probably gained a quarter acre just by removing these overgrown monsters!
It's hard to see how much these bushes have overtaken the yard.
But NO MORE!
It took many weeks to cut them all down. We have about 60 stumps left.
I know....it is a lot of work but so worth it.
This is the very spot that our garden is going in next spring.
Kirk and our neighbor Clell took down a couple dead juniper trees. I think Clell was glad to see them go, One of them had been dead for several years just standing there all brown and dead looking,
The yard is looking awesome and our neighbors are awesome too!
